Product Description

H.B. Fuller MP-55310 Methacrylate Structural Adhesive provides a two-part methyl methacrylate system for structural bonding of metals, thermosets, thermoplastics, and composite assemblies. The resin and activator mix 1:1 by volume or weight and provide a 7-9 minute open time with fixture in 19-23 minutes at 25 deg C. The adhesive fills gaps up to 0.125 in and reaches full cure in 24 hours. Typical cured data include Shore D 75 hardness, 4,350-5,800 psi tensile strength, and overlap shear of 3,300 psi on carbon steel and 3,100 psi on aluminum under ASTM D1002 conditions.
