PERMABOND TA4810
Harmonization Code : 3904.61.00.00 | Polytetrafluoroethylene plates / sheets / film / tape / strip, self-adhesive, in rolls

Main features
- As-Received Metal Bonding
- Non-Sag 2 mm Gap Filling
- Fast Working-Strength Development
Product Description
Permabond TA4810 is a two-part, 1:1 toughened methacrylate adhesive for structural bonding of thermoplastics, thermosets, metals, and composites. It is formulated for adhesion to as-received metal surfaces and combines thixotropic static-mixer dispensing with non-sag gap filling up to 2 mm. At 23 deg C, typical pot life is 4 to 6 minutes, fixture time is 10 to 15 minutes, and working strength develops in 50 to 60 minutes. It also provides resistance to many common industrial solvents and fuels and is intended for harsh environmental conditions.
Key features
- As-Received Metal Adhesion: Supports high-strength bonding to as-received metal surfaces.
- Non-Sag 2 mm Gap Fill: Thixotropic flow supports static-mixer dispensing and gap filling without sag.
- Fast Working-Strength Build: Develops typical working strength in 50 to 60 minutes at 23 deg C.
Applications
Applications include structural bonding of thermoplastics, thermosets, metals, composites, and mixed-material assemblies.
