PERMABOND UV610
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Fast Low-Power UV Cure
- High-Strength Glass-Metal Bonding
- Solvent-Free Cure-On-Demand Processing
Product Description
Permabond UV610 is a single-part, 100% solids methacrylate adhesive developed for UV-curing glass-to-metal assemblies. Its translucent, 600 to 1,300 mPa s viscosity supports direct bottle application or controlled automated dispensing. Depending on lamp output and substrate transmission, typical fixture time ranges from 10 seconds with a 4 mW/cm^2 battery lamp to 1 second with a 30 W/cm^2 light guide across a 365 to 400 nm cure range. The cured adhesive provides typical steel-to-glass tensile strength of 13 to 16 N/mm^2 and 95% elongation, supporting glass furniture and high-strength edge joints.
Key features
- Fast Low-Power UV Cure: Fixtures in 10 seconds with a 4 mW/cm^2 battery lamp under stated conditions.
- High-Strength Glass-to-Metal Bonding: Provides typical steel-to-glass tensile strength of 13 to 16 N/mm^2.
- 100% Solids Formulation: Uses a solvent-free, single-part formulation for cure-on-demand processing.
Applications
Applications include glass-to-metal bonding, glass furniture assembly, and high-strength glass edge joints with direct UV exposure.
