PLEXUS MA425
Harmonization Code : 3904.61.00.00 | Polytetrafluoroethylene plates / sheets / film / tape / strip, self-adhesive, in rolls

Main features
- 30-35 Minute Working Time
- Non-Sag Thixotropic Dispensing
- 30-50% Typical Elongation
Product Description
Plexus MA425 Methacrylate Structural Adhesive combines a two-part 10:1 methacrylate system with a 30-35 minute working window for structural bonding of composite, thermoplastic, and metal assemblies. Its non-sag thixotropic consistency supports controlled dispensing on structural joints and helps the bead remain in place during assembly. Typical cured tensile strength is 2,565-3,315 psi with 30-50% elongation, combining load-bearing capability with joint flexibility. The product is used in transportation and marine manufacturing for composite bonding and for joining thermoplastics, coated metals, and raw metals prepared with PC120 cleaner/conditioner.
Key features
- Extended assembly time: A 30-35 minute working window supports structural bonding of larger or more complex assemblies.
- Non-sag dispensing: Thixotropic flow helps the adhesive remain in place during application.
- Strength with elongation: Typical tensile strength is 2,565-3,315 psi with 30-50% elongation.
Applications / Suitable for
- Transportation and marine structural assemblies using composites, thermoplastics, coated metals, or PC120-prepared raw metals.
