Main features
- 4-6 Minute Working Time
- Fast Primerless Metal Assembly
- 2,610-3,190 psi Tensile Strength
Product Description
Plexus MA830 Methacrylate Structural Adhesive is a fast-working, two-part methacrylate structural adhesive for primerless bonding of metals and for joining selected thermoplastics and composites. The 10:1 system provides a 4-6 minute working time, supporting rapid assembly cycles where parts can be positioned promptly. Typical values at 23 deg C include 2,610-3,190 psi tensile strength, 10-20% elongation, and a maximum gap fill of 0.50 in (12.7 mm). The cured adhesive is also characterized by fatigue resistance, impact resistance, toughness, and resistance to salt spray and other environmental factors.
Key features
- Rapid working time: A 4-6 minute working window supports fast structural assembly cycles.
- Primerless metal bonding: The adhesive bonds many raw and coated metals without a separate primer.
- Structural performance: Typical tensile strength is 2,610-3,190 psi with 10-20% elongation.
Applications / Suitable for
- Primerless structural bonding of raw and coated metals, thermoplastics, and composites where a short working window is required.
