Product Description
Sikaflex-255 FC is a fast-curing, one-component polyurethane adhesive for direct glazing and glass replacement in commercial vehicles. The black material has very good non-sag properties, a 20-minute open time, and a 40-minute skin time at 23 deg C and 50% relative humidity, supporting controlled glass installation in warm conditions. After cure, typical properties include 6 MPa tensile strength, 450% elongation, 12 N/mm tear propagation resistance, and 4 MPa tensile lap-shear strength. The adhesive is compatible with Sika's black-primerless bonding process for mineral-glass windows within the prescribed pretreatment system.
