Product Description
Sikaflex-268 is a one-component, moisture-curing polyurethane adhesive and sealant for rail assembly, direct glazing, and repair bonding. It can be processed conventionally or accelerated with Sika Booster and PowerCure systems, while the non-sag material provides a 40-minute open time at 23 deg C and 50% relative humidity. The cured material has 6 MPa tensile strength, 500% elongation, and 4.5 MPa tensile lap-shear strength under ISO 527 and ISO 4587. Its weathering stability and resistance to specified rail cleaning agents support exterior rail joints when dilution, exposure time, and rinsing follow the cleaning-agent guidance.
